About Us
Little Hens Psychology began with a boy named Henry.
Little Hens Psychology was born out of one Mum’s passion to build accessible, convenient mental health support, where parents receive warm, empathetic and compassionate care from experienced perinatal clinicians.

From the Founder
Meet Katelyn Rossiter
My lived experience of struggling silently with anxiety, infant bonding, identity change and relationship challenges helped me to identify the importance of connecting with a professional as early as possible to support the emotional impacts of becoming a parent.
The name Little Hens was inspired by my little boy Henry who is affectionately known as ‘Little Hens’. The name reflects the emotional journey and bond we share and embodies the nurturing and supportive space I want to create for expectant and new parents.
Just as my connection with Henry has been a journey of growth and learning, Little Hens Psychology is dedicated to guiding parents through their own meaningful transitions. As a Mum diagnosed with ADHD, I also have a deep understanding of how neurodivergence can add further challenges to navigating parenthood.
Managing the strategic operations of the practice, I am committed to ensuring that Little Hens Psychology provides accessible, evidence-based care that helps parents feel supported, empowered and less alone.

Our Approach
What support here actually looks like
Client-centered approach
We offer compassionate, quality mental health care to expectant and new parents using evidence based psychological therapies tailored to individual client needs and goals.
Support that meets you where you are
We offer telehealth appointments so you can access support from home, at a time that fits around feeds, naps and everything else. Support that meets you where you are.
Continuity of care
We provide continuity of care throughout your therapy journey, so you can see the same clinician each session. If they are ever unavailable, we will talk through the alternatives with you.
A space to speak openly
We create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about aspects of your journey that can feel difficult or isolating.
Our Vision
A future where every parent feels supported and less alone during pregnancy, birth and early parenthood, with the skills to build confidence, resilience and connection to their baby and family.
Our Mission
To support as many parents as possible through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood, by bringing together experienced clinicians who are passionate about perinatal mental health and genuinely understand the complexities of this life stage.
Our Values
Compassion, accessibility and integrity guide everything we do. We meet every parent without judgment, keep our care grounded in current evidence and make support easier to reach at a stage of life when reaching out may feel the hardest.
